Honouring a long tradition of skillful cava wine making, Abadia de Montserrat is elaborated under the protection of the Montserrat Mountain (at the foot of the Montserrat Mountain). The new label features ornamental elements symbolizing centuries of history.

The circular shaped label resembles the outline of the stained glass windows inside the Santa Cueva de Montserrat chapel, a masterwork crafted by Barcelona glassmaker Eudald Amigó. A drawing of the impressive Montserrat massif, visible from many points throughout the Penedes region, crowns the label composition.

A collectible bottle cap will be issued with each vintage, to form a series of mosaics found on the stained glass windows of the Basilica. The gothic 'M' lettering with superimposed mountains, a characteristic symbol of Monserrat, endorses the design.
